Shell Clavus oil is a good low temperature performance naphthenic mineral oil blending formed, without lowering pour point and other additives, these additives would have some impact on the performance of refrigeration compressors. Shell Clavus lubricants are lubricants used in refrigeration compressors.

Recommended Applications
|
|
Shell Clavus lubricants dedicated to ammonia, propane, freon (such as R11, R12 or R13) as refrigerant, and requires the use of a low pour point, without refrigeration compressor lubricant additives.

Performance characteristics
|
- Oil film strength, between moving parts to ensure adequate oil film, and play a role in reducing seal leakage within the system.
